Program Overview

In partnership with MacEwan University, ECSD Dual Credit Program offers this course for students interested in getting started on their studies in the world of Business.

Students learn fundamental business knowledge, with courses exploring essential topics such as macroeconomics, marketing fundamentals, introductory accounting, analysis and argument and financial math.

Course Details 

Semester I September 10, 2025 - January 7, 2026: BUSN 201 Introduction to Sustainable Business

This is an interdisciplinary cornerstone course, based on the premise that responsible leadership and effective management requires an understanding of business and its substantive disciplines, how a sustainable business is run and how emerging issues in business can be addressed from a sustainability perspective.

Admission Requirements: Completed English 20-1 (60% min) or English 20-2 (70% min)

Location: Mother Margaret Mary High School, 2010 Leger Road

Day/Time: Wednesdays 4:00 - 7:00 p.m.

$39.00 Technology User Fee (Non-Refundable)
$71.00 Alternative Program Fee (Non-Refundable)
