Supporting Indigenous Student Holistic Wellness in Edmonton Catholic Schools
In providing holistic programming, using the medicine wheel teachings in assessing balance and health the department has created a new role focusing on innovative ways to increase multilevel supports to Indigenous students.

- Supporting schools with outreach to non-attenders
- Supporting schools with complex issues facing Indigenous students
- Supporting schools seeking cultural resources and presentations
- Delivering Professional Development for District staff
- Facilitating restorative justice circles addressing bullying, physical altercations, racism, and verbal conflict.
Available Wellness Sessions
- In-person Indigenous content for Wellness Sessions
- Virtual Wellness Sessions for Junior High sites on Wednesdays on Teams 12:00-1:00 PM accessible to all Division schools
