We accept applications and conduct interviews for casual, temporary, and permanent non-teacher positions on an as needed basis.
At Edmonton Catholic Schools, non-teacher staff members fall under three different employee groups.
- AUPE, Local 071, Chapter 01: Custodial and maintenance staff are represented by AUPE, Locale 071, Chapter 013. Cafeteria workers, Custodians (ex. Head Custodian, Senior Custodian), Electricians, and Maintenance workers are examples of positions that fall under this employee group.
- Out of Scope: Professional, technical and management staff are classified as Out of Scope staff. Business Managers, Counselling Therapists, High School Graduation Facilitator, Assistant Managers, and Family School Liaison Social Worker are examples of positions that fall under this employee group.
- Unifor, Local No. 52-A: Support staff are represented by Unifor, Local No. 52-A. Educational Assistants, Administrative Supports, Early Childhood Educators, Therapeutic Assistants, and Instructors are examples of positions that fall under this employee group.
