Thanks for the We Care Challenge

"When you believe in what you're doing and use your imagination and initiative,

you can make a difference."

(Samuel Dash)

Once again, I am both humbled and awed by the generosity and drive of the students and staff of Edmonton Catholic Schools. The final totals are in for our annual We Care Challenge.

Through your hard work and commitment to social justice, we were able to raise $181,384.50 to support Catholic Social Services' Sign of Hope campaign and $36,419.84 to support the Edmonton Catholic Schools Foundation's Dreams for Kids campaign. This gives us a grand total of $217,804.34!

Thank you, thank you, thank you to all of our schools and our departments for the creative ways in which you brought Catholic social teaching to life for our students, and to our staff who generously donated to the We Care Staff Payroll Giving Program. Your efforts are helping to make our own City of Edmonton a community of social justice!

Sincerely,

Joan Carr

Superintendent
