If you are new to Canada and you chose the Catholic schools for your children's education, the Intercultural Services staff will welcome and assist you with the registration of your child/children at One World ... One Centre and provide you with the initial information and orientation to the school system and available community supports.
Services are offered in: Amharic, Bosnian, Croatian, Filipino/Tagalog, Polish, Russian, Serbian, Spanish, Tigrinya, Ukrainian, and Vietnamese. Services in languages other than the ones mentioned above are available upon request. The same services are likewise provided by our staff to the English speaking newcomer families in ECSD.
The Intercultural Services staff are located at the intercultural Services office, One Word ... One Centre, 9405 50 Street NW, Edmonton, AB T6B 2T4. They will be glad to answer your questions about registration or other services you may need. You can contact them at (780) 441-6060. If you have difficulties communicating in English please leave a message in your own language or speak directly to the intercultural Services staff.
