Edmonton Catholic Schools held grand opening celebrations to mark the official opening of our new Lumen Christi Catholic Education Centre. 
 
We were blessed to welcome dignitaries from all levels of government, clergy from the Archdiocese of Edmonton, members of our ECSD Council of Elders, staff, alumni, and those from our greater community. The new Lumen Christi is nearly 190,000 square feet in size and is home to more than 300 staff that were consolidated from six administrative sites. 
 
The decision to consolidate our centralized services is rooted in the principles of Pope Francis’ encyclical “On Care for Our Common Home” and we look forward to sharing Our Common Home and carrying on the legacy of Edmonton Catholic schools for generations to come!

Visiting Lumen Christi Catholic Education Centre

The Lumen Christi Catholic Education Centre is located at 9405 50 Street in the community of Capilano. Visitor parking is located in our west parking lot which faces 50th street.
