What do you spy?
Play a fun game and learn more about Kindergarten in Edmonton Catholic Schools.
How to Play
- The player who starts picks an object that everyone can see.
- The player then gives the first letter of the object as a clue.
- Players take turns to call out guesses until someone gets the right answer.
Example:
If the object is a bee, say:
“I spy with my little eye something that begins with B.”
Adapting 'I Spy" for Different Ages
You can easily adapt ‘I Spy’ for older and younger children.
For younger children: Use clues that describe the object instead of letters.
Example: “I spy something I can eat” or “I spy something that is purple.”
For older children: Add a twist. Each player can ask three yes or no questions before guessing.
