Completing New Student Applications using SchoolEngage
Welcome to Edmonton Catholic Schools! We are pleased to guide you through our online registration process facilitated by SchoolEngage. This platform ensures a secure and streamlined experience for enrolling your child. Existing ECSD families do not need not create a new account if they already have a child enrolled in one of our schools.
Please find below a comprehensive registration guide. Begin by selecting the appropriate box ‘New to Edmonton Catholic Schools or ‘Families with Current ECSD Students.’ This will provide you with tailored instructions.
New to Edmonton Catholic Schools
Create a new SchoolEngage account by visiting schoolengage.ecsd.net.
- Click the Create New Account button and complete the information to receive an email verification of your new account. Once verified, you can sign in to your account.
- Once logged in to SchoolEngage, proceed with the steps below.
Families with Current ECSD Students
Use your current PowerSchool account to access SchoolEngage. Visit powerschool.ecsd.net
- Log onto the PowerSchool using your existing account, and then click on the School Engage Icon in the left-hand menu.
- Once logged in to SchoolEngage, proceed with the steps below.
Once you are logged into SchoolEngage, complete the following steps
- Add your student to your SchoolEngage account. You will find the link on the left-hand side. Start there to enter your student’s first and last name and their date of birth and click save. This will add your student to your list of students in SchoolEngage. 
 
- Select your student (the one that needs the application) from the student list on the left-hand menu. Once you have a student selected, you will see on the right-hand side of the screen the list of available applications. 
 
- Select the proper form from the list of new student applications. You will need to choose the form based on when your student is starting school. Select either the current year or the upcoming year.
 
- Once the form is open, read the instructions and continue through the form making sure to answer all required fields. If a field is not completed, it will be marked red.
 
- After you have completed and signed the form, click submit. It will not let you submit, if there is missing information.)
 
- You will receive a confirmation message and email once the form is completed. To register additional children, start again at step 1 for each student.
