Dear community partner,

Over the past few years Children’s Services has continued to evolve our practice in how we deliver services to Children, Youth and Families.  One of the most recent shifts that we have made is applying a more comprehensive risk assessment at the intake level. This new approach will enable us to make more informed decisions when it comes to creating safety for our children and youth. These changes also align with research, legislation and updated policy. 

As a key stakeholder in our work, we’d like to invite you to one of several scheduled presentations on our new intake process as we understand you may have questions about what may or may not be different when you call us to report a concern. These presentations will be held virtually, and dates/times and registration information is as follows:
