Alternative Education
Student Services provides alternative educational opportunities and programs to high school students within the Edmonton Catholic Schools’ community. The student-centred programs are highlighted by programs for students (Grades 7-12) in need of an alternative delivery model. As society evolves, so must our education system adapt to change.
Registration
All Alternative Education programs use a separate registration system. This system is not connected to PowerSchool.
A unique account is required.

First-Time Students
If this is your first time registering for Alternative Education at ECSD (even if you have been registered for regular schooling):
- You must create a new account in registerae.ecsd.net before you can select or register for any course.

Additional Programs and Services
Alberta Health Services Day Program and Intensive Program
Alternative Education works with Alberta Health Services to provide the educational component of AHS youth treatment programs, allowing students to continue their schooling while in addiction treatment.
Assessment Support and Intervention Success Team (ASIST)
ASIST offers integrated and wrap-around interventions and supports to at-risk Grades 7–12 students within Edmonton Catholic Schools.
Our Lady of Grace (Pregnant and Parenting Teens)
Our Lady of Grace is an Edmonton Catholic School Division program that supports pregnant and parenting teens while they are completing school.
