​​Entering Pre-K is an exciting time for your child and an important first step in their Catholic education. We want this transition to the school community to be as smooth as possible for you and your child. All of our Pre-Kindergarten Programs include:


  • Certified Teacher
  • Early Learning Facilitator
  • Learning through play
  • Integration of the fine arts
  • Rich oral language opportunities
  • Family/parent nights
  • A multi-disciplinary team that includes: Early Learning Consultant, Speech-Language Pathologist, Occupational Therapist, Emotional Behaviour SpecialistFamily School Liaison Worker, Physical Therapist, Adapted Physical Education Specialist, Registered Psychologist, Multi-Cultural Animator, and Fine Art Specialist
  • Language Interpreters as needed
  • Faith based instruction
  • Inclusive​ learning spaces

 
To be eligible for Pre-Kindergarten (Pre-K), your child must be four years old on or before March 1 of the school year you wish to register for. Fees may apply. 

 
Upon registration of your child for a program you will be asked to provide proof of your child's name, date of birth and citizenship. Only the following documents will be accepted:

  • Birth certificate
  • Permanent Resident Card
  • Parent Work Permit
  • Parent Study Permit
  • Adoption Papers

We also ask that you bring to the school any assessments that may have been completed on your child. For information regarding assessments and preschool screens, please contact your Community Public Health Centre. If you have any program questions, please contact the school offering Pre-K or call an Early Learning Consultant at 780-638-6810.​
