What is Pre-Kindergarten (100 Voices) Screening?
Using age-appropriate engaging activities, a Speech Language Pathologist and an Occupational Therapist evaluate your child to help determine program eligibility during a screening session.
Criteria for Eligibility
To be eligible for the Pre-Kindergarten (100 Voices) program, children need to be ages 3 and 4 years old and meet at least one of the following criteria:
- English Language Learners (must be 4 years of age by December 31st, 2019)
- Mild/Moderate developmental delays (must be 4 years of age by December 31st, 2019)
- Severe developmental delays (must be 3 years of age by December 31st, 2019)
- Typically developing - fees may apply (must be 4 years of age by December 31st, 2019)
Families interested in Pre-Kindergarten (100 Voices) programs for the 2019-2020 school year, need to apply at the school that your child is planning on attending. From there, the schools will contact you to book a screening session for the spring. Pre-Kindergarten screening sessions are being held from February to September 2019.
Community School 100 Voices Locations
Pre-Kindergarten programs are offered at community schools and screening appointments can be booked directly through the school where your child has applied. Please utilize the School Locator Tool to assist you in determining your community school.
