How old must my child be to apply for an Early Learning Pre-Kindergarten (100 Voices) program?

The Pre-Kindergarten (100 Voices) programs are designed for 3 and 4 year old children.  Educational funding may be available for children with mild/moderate/severe delays and/or English as a Second Language (ESL).  For typically developing children, a tuition fee may apply.

To apply for a Pre-Kindergarten (100 Voices) program,  your child must be three years old on or before September 30th or four years old on or before December 31st of the school year that they will be starting 100 Voices.


What documentation is required to submit an application?

You will be asked to provide proof of your child’s name, date of birth and citizenship. Only the following documents are accepted:

  • Birth Certificate
  • Permanent Resident Card
  • Parent Work Permit
  • Parent Study Permit
  • Adoption Papers

Please provide the schools with copies of all external assessments (including diagnosis from health care professionals and Alberta Health Services) at time of application.  In the event that you do not have an official copy, please request the documentation from the writer and submit to the school as soon as possible.
