POP UP FOPs General Information

Building Language Through Play:  October-November

Locations: St. Vladimir, Anne Fitzgerald, St. Dominic, St. Leo

Play is super important for kids.  It allows them to explore their environment, to develop social and problem-solving skills, to develop creativity and more importantly, to be able to expand their language development.  Families are provided the opportunity to engage with their child and walk away with tools to continue their new learned skills at home. (6-week sessions)

  Building Blocks for Successful Learning: January-February

Locations:  St. Catherine, Our Lady of Victories, St. Paul, St. Pius X

This series will give you tools to assist you and your child through day to day tasks by creating visual supports.  Together, families will be set up for success by feeling more comfortable and confident in their everyday routines. These tools will be transferable in all environments and will maximize your child’s greatest potential (5-week sessions)

 Sounds like Play: February/March

Locations:  St. Bernadette, St. Timothy, St. Justin, Christ The King


Children and their families will develop an awareness of how to promote sound production as they engage in play with their children through specially designed play opportunities that can be easily replicated at home. (5-week sessions) 

 Storytelling and Language: COMING SOON

Locations: TBA

Families will enjoy learning how to extend and retell stories in fun and interactive ways that support both communication and play as they listen to a variety of new and favourite stories. Creativity will explode parent and child work to retell the story and find adventures for favourite characters. (4-week sessions)
