B1 D.E.L.F. occurs during grade 8

Students successfully accomplish B1 International French Language proficiency and receive an official diploma from the French Embassy in France.

Why take the D.E.L.F.?

The Diplôme d’Etudes en Langue Française (DELF) is an official diplomas awarded by the Ministry of Education in France to certify foreign candidates’ proficiency in French language.

  • The top levels of the DELF give access to all French universities and to an ever growing number of European and francophone universities, eliminating the need for pre-admission French language tests.
  • The DELF is a plus to your resumé. Their quality is recognized all over the world, notably by French and European employers. DELF exam centres are present in 163 countries.
  • Many jobs and careers in Canada need employees with bilingual abilities. The D.E.L.F. is an official diploma which credits you with the distinguished skill of functional bilingualism which is valuable in any applications or resumes.

D.E.L.F. Diplomas for each level

The DELF is made up of 6 independent diplomas corresponding to the six different levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL), so you can chose the level corresponding to your proficiency and work your way up !

B1 D.E.L.F. At this level, the user becomes independent. He/she can maintain interaction: he/she can understand and maintain a discussion and give his/her opinion. He/she is capable of dealing with situations likely to arise in daily life.
