The Louis golf team was fraught with difficult challenges including cooler weather to start the season. Managing a top sixteen finish at the first tournament of the year, the team looked forward to Zones. That tournament would bring further challenges, with nearly three inches of snow falling on the course, ultimately postponing the tournament. Some very stiff competition, very stiff winds, and some extremely challenging course conditions prevailed once the weather cleared enough to complete the round; we found ourselves just short of qualifying for provincials. May brought vast improvements in conditions and weather – many of the players echoed this with vast improvement in their games, with personal bests recorded during the season. Returning players have high expectations for even stronger performances next season.
