Each Edmonton Catholic School provides for the establishment of a School Council with the stipulation that the majority of the members be parents of students attending the school. The St. Joseph School Council meets at the school on the third Wednesday of each month. The role of the council is varied and includes: provide advice to the school administrator on school related matters, (philosophy, discipline, etc.); support the school in varied ways; encourage parents and community commitment and become more aware of the school's programs.
Our first Parent Council meeting was held on September 6 in conjunction with the Parent Information Evening.
The next Parent Council Meeting will be help on October 10 @ 6 pm in the main floor board room. All parents/guardians are welcome to attend.
