The following St. Joe’s students and staff have been awarded a Silver medal at this week’s High School Culinary Challenge:

At the awards dinner at the Shaw Conference Centre on March 12, the culinary team from St. Joe’s was awarded a Silver medal.

In February, culinary teams from three ECSD high schools, (Holy Trinity, Archbishop O’Leary, and St. Joseph) competed with 13 other high schools from across the Capital Region in the 11th  High School Culinary Challenge presented by and the Canadian Culinary Federation (CCF) Edmonton. Teams competed by cooking a three course meal at NAIT’s Hokanson Centre for Culinary Arts and were judged on preparation, timing, sanitation, presentation and taste.
