Xavier Executive is excited to be able to host this 24 hour fundraiser event on April 27-28, 2017 in support of the Sign of Hope Campaign and the Dreams for Kids Campaign as well as a portion of the funds allocated to a newly arriving refuge family from Syria! Teams of up to ten students will need to raise at least $1000 to participate, but will be encouraged to raise more - and will need to raise $1250 as a team to have access to power outlets! These teams will need to keep their stationary bicycle pedaling, with activities, such as a dance, a petting zoo, and dodgeball, for the teammates throughout the event. $5000 of the donations will be used to support a sponsored Syrian family. The remaining donations will be split evenly to the Sign of Hope Campaign, which provides services and programs for people dealing with addictions, domestic violence, elder abuse, fetal alcohol spectrum disorder, HIV/AIDS, homelessness, refugees, and street youth. The other half of the donation split will go to the Dreams for Kids Campaign supported by the Edmonton Catholic School Foundation. This campaign provides school lunches, mental health supports, and emergency support for students in need in our own district. More information can be found about these worthy charities on their websites:
