Principal's Message

Welcome to St. Nicholas Catholic Junior High School, and to the diverse educational and extra-curricular opportunities that our school provides to each and every student. A student's journey through Junior High will have many opportunities and challenges but with the support of their parents and the staff of St. Nicholas school, their journey can, and will be both rewarding and fulfilling. Our goal is to ensure that every child is successful in their learning and to strive to help them discover and recognize their gifts and talents by giving them every opportunity possible to discover and develop. The staff of St. Nicholas school is committed to setting in place organizational expectations and study habits to assist every child in achieving success. Our staff is willing to provide the extra help, time and effort to make each student successful.

We are excited that the St. Nicholas Academy of Fine Arts, Science and Soccer continues to grow and provide students with additional learning opportunities and possibilities for further growth as individuals. We expect that the St. Nicholas experience in the Academies will provide every student and their family with many exciting moments.  God has provided each of us with unique gifts, no two being the same, and God calls us to realize our gifts and to develop them, as this leads us to the most fulfilling and rewarding experiences in our lives. Everything we do should contribute to our own personal growth and to the greater good and growth of our community.

We are blessed that the foundation of all Edmonton Catholic schools is Christ. God's light is reflected in the faces of all our students, and by living in a community of hope integrating faith, life and culture we discover and recognize that each of us are blessed with special gifts and talents. We know that when you as students walk in a direction of justice and service you will truly become the hope and light of our world. We look forward to walking together in a journey of learning, faith and community at St. Nicholas school!
