Each application is reviewed by the appropriate Academy lead teacher, and recommendations for acceptance or non-acceptance to the Academy are forwarded to the principal for review. Final decisions regarding acceptance or non-acceptance to Academies are made by the principal and are communicated to parents in writing. Please note that applications are not considered complete until the school has received registration forms and all supporting documents. Grade six students currently enrolled in an Edmonton Catholic School (other than St. Edmund) are required to submit a Transition Passport to their elementary school. Transition passports are then forwarded to St. Edmund. Acceptance letters are sent out after Transition Passports have been received.

Round 2 applications will be accepted in April, with the understanding that space in Academy classes is limited. Late applicants to sports academies may be put on a waiting list in the event that additional spots become available.

PLEASE NOTE:  DUE TO THE POPULARITY OF OUR SPORTS ACADEMIES AND LIMITED SPACES WITHIN THEM, SOME STUDENT ATHLETES MAY BE ACCEPTED TO THE SCHOOL, BUT NOT TO THEIR CHOSEN SPORTS ACADEMY.
