KINDERGARTEN PROGRAMS

FREE BUS TRANSPORTATION FOR ALL KINDERGARTEN STUDENTS

Transportation Services will provide for the pick up of our residential and catchment area ( in-boundary) students in Kindergarten at no cost to parents. To register for this service please come in and complete the necessary transportation forms as part of your registration package.

ENGLISH PROGRAM

RESIDENTIAL & CATCHMENT AREAS

Transportation Services will provide for the pick up of our residential and catchment area ( in-boundary) students in grades 1 through 6 who wish to use the bus service. To do so however, they must refer to the map and view, the stops as indicated with the diamond shapes. Transportation services will create stops at the beginning of the school year based on the requests made.

FRENCH IMMERSION PROGRAM

TRANSPORTATION PROVIDED FOR ALL FRENCH IMMERSION STUDENTS

CATCHMENT AREAS

If you live in anywhere in the areas EAST OF Winterburn Road, SOUTH of 87th Ave AND NORTH and WEST OF The North Saskatchewan River you are eligible for transportation to our French Immersion Program.

Transportation Services will provide for the pick up of our Kindergarten (FREE) Grade 1 to Grade 6 students registered in our French Immersion Program. To see a map displaying our French Immersion catchment areas, please click the link below. If you reside within the yellow shaded areas or purple shaded areas on the map, your child will have transportation provided to them for French Immersion programming.:

March 2014: New families wishing to register in French Immersion program at the Kindergarten – Grade 6 level who are living in the Holy Cross catchment area will be directed to Holy Cross School. Bussing to Holy Cross School will be available to those students who reside within the eligible catchment area. This includes regular bussing, as well as, the Noon Hour service for Kindergarten students. Transportation (regular bussing and/or Noon Hour service) from Holy Cross School area for Kindergarten to Grade 6 students in the French Immersion program will not be available for new families who choose to send their Kindergarten child to Our Lady of the Prairies School.

(NEW) FRENCH IMMERSION CATCHMENT AREA

TRANSPORTATION COSTS

Bus passes for both the yellow and ETS are available in the office one week prior to month end. The cost of a pass is $30.00, which can be paid by cash or cheque, made out to Our Lady of the Prairies School. Please enclose the payment in an envelope with your child's name on it. Only the individual for whom it is purchased may use the bus pass, as they are not transferable. It is expected that each child carry his/her bus pass on their person or in their school bag. Kindergarten students are not charged for transportation.
