A welcoming school filled with love, kindness and joy, where all students can be active leaders and rise up to God.
We recognize that each student is unique and is a gift from God. The staff at St. Timothy Catholic School is unified and committed to providing a learning environment where each child will thrive spiritually, academically and emotionally. The love of Christ will be evident in all our endeavors and interactions with our students, staff, families and community.
Creating leaders in a faith-based environment following Jesus’ teachings.
Through the Religious Education Program, students learn about the Sacraments of Baptism, Reconciliation, First Communion and Confirmation. Although these sacraments are discussed in class, it is the parents' responsibility to contact their parish to register their child for a specific sacrament.

All of the Schools in the Edmonton Catholic School District use a Religious Education Program that is prescribed by our Alberta Bishops and provided through the National Office for Religious Education in Ottawa. The Program ranges from Kindergarten to Grade Twelve, and offers students with an overview of our Catholic faith as well as grade-specific themes.
Our School Namesake: St. Timothy
His mother was Jewish and became a Christian believer and his father was Greek. St. Timothy was a disciple of St. Paul, the Apostle, who had met him during his second missionary journey. St. Timothy became Paul’s companion and co-worker and traveled with St. Paul. St. Paul was also his mentor and had him do many important assignments. St. Timothy was a traditional martyr and also the first bishop of Ephesus.
Saint Timothy's feast day is January 26th.
St. Timothy School is committed to acknowledging the various seasons during the liturgical year through celebrations held both at the school and at our parish, St. Edmund. We also take the time to rejoice during other special events. Join us in celebrating the opening and closing of the school year, Thanksgiving, Remembrance Day, Advent, Lent, Easter and in celebrating Mary.
