SCHOOL OPENING CELEBRATION
Our School Opening Celebration was
held at St. Mathew Parish on September 18 @ 9:30 AM. All family
members were welcome to join us in celebrating the beginning of a
new school year. We were blessed to have Father Paul preside in
this Eucharistic Celebration.
Our Thanksgiving Celebration will
take place on Thursday, October 5th at 9:30 AM in the school
gym. Parents are welcome to came celebrate with us. During the week of
October 2nd, we will collect food bank items to support the food bank
program at St. Teresa of Cucuta. Thank you in advance for
all your non-perishable food donations in support of this local social justice
NO STONE LEFT ALONE
Our Remembrance Day ceremony will
take place on Monday, November 6th. We will be going to the
Edmonton Municipal Cemetery to take part in the program No Stone Left Alone. Parents
are more than welcome to meet us at the cemetery where the program will begin
at 10:30 AM and should last approximately 40 minutes.

December 4th at 10:30 AM in the school gym. The Grade 3 class lead the celebration. We were also fortunate to have Father Paul join us!
We will continue
with weekly celebrations which will be held in our very own school chapel.
WEEKLY ADVENT CELEBRATIONS
Father Paul will be joining us for our
Ash Wednesday Celebration on February 14th at 11:15 AM. Please join us
as we celebrate the beginning of Lent, an important time in our Liturgical
STATIONS OF THE CROSS
On Thursday, March 22nd at 10:30 AM,
the Grade 4-6 students will be leading us in bringing to life the Stations of
the Cross. Please join us on this Holy Thursday in our school gymnasium.
To celebrate the season of Easter and
celebrate the resurrection of our Lord, please join us in our school gymnasium
on April 5th at 9:30 AM.
During May, we take the time to honor
Mary, the Mother of Jesus. We hope you will join us for our Celebration of Mary
on Thursday, May 3rd at 10:30 AM.
On Wednesday, June 27th
at 10:30 AM, we will be celebrating a Yearend Mass at St. Matthew Church.
Please join us as we celebrate together the end of our 2017- 2018 school year.
