St. Gerard is a 100 Voices (Pre-Kindergarten ages 3 and 4) through Grade 6 school serving the areas of Westwood, Delton, Elmwood Park, Alberta Avenue, (north of 118 Avenue) and Eastwood (north of 120 Avenue).

At St. Gerard we provide academic programming in a safe and caring environment within the context of our strong Catholic identity and core values.

St. Gerard Catholic School offers many differentiated opportunities for our students. With a renewed Literacy and Numeracy focus, we are constantly seeking creative opportunities for meaningful student collaboration and innovation. In seeking to develop the 8 Alberta Education Learner Competencies throughout the curriculum, our students will be ready for a constantly changing global landscape.

Through our 100 Voices program, which includes the internationally recognized Reggio philosophy, we are able to provide a high quality educational program for the year prior to kindergarten. This program has a certified teacher assisted by an Early Learning Facilitator (ELF) combined with multiple community and District supports.

Our students have an opportunity through our Student Leadership program to become an active member of the school community. As a WE School, all students are encouraged to be "Agents of Change" and rise up to serve our community and our world.
