School Charism (Gifts of the Holy Spirit)
Our namesake was a missionary from England who became the “Apostle of the Germans”. Pope Gregory II named him Bonifatius, which means “he who does good”. Thus, our charism is: “Those who do good”.
Guided by our Catholic faith, we inquire, create, and take action as globally-minded communicators.
As principled members of our Catholic community, all students will be empowered and inspired by the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme and the Arts to be socially responsible, life-long learners.
International Baccalaureate (IB) Mission
The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.
To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment.
These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right.
St. Boniface Catholic Elementary IB World School & Fine Arts Focus is located on the southside of Edmonton, serving families in the areas of Westbrook, Greenfield, Aspen Gardens, and Royal Gardens. Through the lens of the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme, students learn dance, visual arts, music, and drama within a transdisciplinary framework.
