It is hard to believe that this is Mr. Espejo’s and my third year, as the administration team of Corpus Christi Catholic School. Where has the time gone? We feel so blessed to be a part of a community where the students and families are so supportive and hard working.
In September, so many new and exciting things are happening to and for our students and our staff always do their best to make that transition from summer to school start up as smooth as possible. Please be patient as there are changes in teachers, support staff and of course students.
We continue to strive towards our vision for Corpus Christi Catholic School which is: Building Success Together. We (being the home, parish and school) will continue to support your children by helping them discover their talents and strengths but also identifying areas of growth, setting goals, and following through with strategies and structures that they have been taught.
Our staff continue to provide current and effective teaching strategies by endeavoring to grow professionally themselves. We want to provide our students alternative ways to represent their learning and understanding. This is called Universal Design for Learning (UDL), which refers to multiple means of expression, engagement and representation. Our school goals continue to focus on numeracy, literacy, mental and physical health as well as growing in our Catholic faith, beliefs and traditions.
Our school continues to grow in numbers, but more importantly in recognition by others. We have had many new families coming to us because they have heard from our parents how wonderful and welcoming Corpus Christi School is. Our current families have been the best advocates for our school. Thank-you!!
