PHYS. ED 10 (3 or 5 credit)
The PE program at MMM emphasizes daily physical activity that integrates into a life-long dedication to fitness, health and sport. All programs meet the five dimensions of curriculum through activities such as cooperative games, personal and group fitness, team sports, individual sports and pursuits, and through outdoor, indoor and alternative environments. Students must complete Phys. Ed 10 to be eligible to graduate with a high school diploma.
PHYS. ED 20 & 30 (5 credit)
Students understand, experience and appreciate the health benefits that result from physical activity with a greater focus on exploring alternative environments outside the regular classroom setting. This may include activities like: archery, bowling, billiards, curling, cycling, scuba diving, snorkelling, wall climbing, and camping in PE 30.
“I’m glad I took three years of Physical Education at MMM because of the amazing opportunities that are provided every year, such as the countless field trips and the wide variety of athletic activities which all helped prepare me for my Physical Education minor in University."
