Dear Parents and Guardians,

Our teachers are working diligently to ensure that remote learning is organized and delivered within the next few days. Grade level teacher-partners are collaborating closely to ensure consistency. We will offer at-home learning opportunities through online means or through other means such as course packages and telephone check-ins. Course packages will be available for those students who do not have access to technology/devices at home.

All teachers from K to 9 have set up Google Classrooms and will be using them as a means of communication with our students, and with you. Your children can expect to hear from our teachers very soon. Please ensure that you and your children have access to their Google Classroom. If you do not, please contact your child’s teacher by email and they will help you to access it.

We will be following instructions from the Ministry of Education regarding expectations for online delivery. Please note:
  • K – 3: content will focus on language/literacy and mathematics/numeracy outcomes
  • 4 – 6: content will focus on language/literacy and mathematics/numeracy outcomes and there will be opportunity to incorporate science and social studies outcomes through cross-curricular learning
  • 7- 9:  content will focus on core mathematics, language/literacy, science and social studies outcomes
Our students’ well being and best interests are at the very heart of why we chose our profession, and we remain entirely committed to each and every one of them. This has not and will not change. I have complete confidence that our instructional and support teams will ensure a successful continuity of learning for all. We understand that the challenges before us may seem at times, overwhelming. Thank you for your continued confidence in us.

Please assure our children that we love them and miss them, and that together with them, we will ensure that their learning is not interrupted. We will get through this together.

“For God so loved the world that He gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him might not perish but might have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.”
