What is 100 Voices Pre-Kindergarten Screening?

Using age-appropriate engaging activities, a Speech Language Pathologist will evaluate your child to help determine program eligibility during a screening session.

Criteria for Eligibility    

To be eligible for the Pre-Kindergarten (100 Voices) program for the 2021-2022 school year, children need to be 3 or 4 years old and meet at least one of the following criteria:

  • English Language Learners (must be 4 years of age by December 31st, 2021)
  • Severe developmental delays (must be 3 or 4 years of age by December 31st, 2021)

Families interested in Pre-Kindergarten (100 Voices) programs for the 2021-2022 need to check back in January for the application process.   Pre-Kindergarten screening sessions will be held in the spring of 2021. 

Community School 100 Voices Locations

  • Pre-Kindergarten programs are offered at community schools and screening appointments will be booked directly through the school where your child has applied once all documentation has been received. 

Alternate 100 Voices Location

  • Zoo School is being offered at the Edmonton Valley Zoo.
