Sub-Committees
The Land Management Committee is responsible for the implementation of the Joint Use Agreement: Land. The roles and responsibilities of this committee include:
- Actively implement the acquisition, development, maintenance and surplussing of Joint Use Sites as outlined in the Agreement.
- Develop a consultation process to foster communication and cooperation among the partners related to future school.
- Establish a mechanism to resolve any site servicing issues.
- Maintain Schedules “A” and “B” of the Joint Use Agreement: Land.
- Establish mechanisms for addressing demolition of school buildings as outlined in Schedule “C” of the Agreement.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the Agreement on an ongoing basis and meet the principles of the Agreement.
- Communicate updates of accomplishments and activities regularly to the Steering Committee, and submit a formal written report on an annual basis.
- Monitor and evaluate the relationship among the partners in implementing the terms of the Agreement.
The Facilities Management Committee is responsible for the implementation of the Joint Use Agreement: Facilities. The roles and responsibilities of this committee include:
- Actively implement the Operating Guidelines.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the Operating Guidelines on an ongoing basis and meet the principles of the Agreement and the needs of user groups.
- Manage the booking and allocation processes.
- Update Schedule A: Joint Use Facilities annually.
- Recommend revisions to Schedule B: Operating Guidelines to the Steering Committee annually.
- Recommend changes to base hours for the cost model to the Steering Committee annually.
- Prepare comprehensive statistical information on the shared use of facilities to the Steering Committee on an annual basis.
- Communicate updates of accomplishments and activities regularly to the Steering Committee, and submit a formal written report on an annual basis.
- Monitor and evaluate the relationship among the parties in implementing the terms of the Agreement.
