Lisa began her career working in the financial services industry for over 20 years and is currently the owner of a successful small business. She and her husband, Chris, have two children attending Edmonton Catholic Schools.
Since being elected in 2017, Lisa has served the Division in many capacities. She is serving in her second term as Vice-Chair, and sits as the Board’s representative on the Senate of Newman Theological College and on the Community Engagement Committee and GrACE Committee. In addition, Lisa is the alternate representative on the Alberta Union of Public Employee Interpretation Committee and Unifor Negotiations Committee. For the second year, Lisa is the Chair of Governance.
As a passionate, community-minded individual Lisa helped organize the Edmonton’s Festival of Trees Luncheon for three years and currently volunteers for the Society for Friends of St. Alphonsus Catholic School. Her family have been long-time members of St. Thomas More Parish, where she is a lector and a Eucharistic Minister.
Lisa is a strong advocate of Catholic education and is committed to governing and making decisions based on what is right for Every Child, Every Day, No Exceptions.
