How to Apply
The International Student Program is intended for non-funded students who wish to participate in regular programming at Edmonton Catholic Schools. Students must be achieving at grade level and are developmentally appropriate for their years. Parental signatures are required verifying that the student applicant does not require additional or specialized learning needs - refer to application form.
Step One
Download and complete the Application Form
Step Two
- Submit completed Application with the following documents:
- Copy of 2 years of school marks - in home language and translated to English
- Copy of valid passport
- Copy of immunization records
- Tuition Fees

Step Three
- If approved, a Letter of Acceptance from Edmonton Catholic Schools will be emailed to you within 1 week from receiving completed application package and tuition fees
- Student applies for Study Permit to the Canadian embassy or consulate in his/her country of origin
Step Four
- Student arrives in Edmonton
- Student registers at the International Student Program office prior to attending school
- Call 780-944-2001 to schedule an appointment for registration, orientation and assessment
- Note: Custodians or an appointed adult must attend the appointment
At the scheduled appointment held at One World…One Centre, students will:
- Meet the International Student Program staff
- Complete the school registration form
- Complete an assessment of their English Language skills (if applicable)
- Submit a copy of their student permit
- Submit a copy of the Custodian Declaration form (if applicable)
- Receive their student health insurance information/card
- Meet the International Student Program staff and receive an orientation
Note: The appointment takes approximately 1.5 hours.
