Social Studies Education Consultant

Angie Hall has attended Edmonton Catholic Schools as a student and has been teaching with our district for 20 years.  Her career included a teaching position with Ben Calf Robe School for 10 years, Aboriginal Social Studies Consultant for 6 years, and teaching position with Kisiko Awasis School for 3 years.    Her life path has been dedicated to helping her people.  As a Metis Albertan, she knows the challenges of the Aboriginal people first hand, as she was raised in foster care.  Today Angie is pursuing her Masters in Psychotherapy, Spirituality and Art Therapy with St. Stephens College, here in Edmonton.  She believes in the power of art to heal and recognizes that creativity has helped her overcome many challenges.  Included in her studies is a focus on trauma and inter-generational trauma among people.  This is empowering her to support children who have been affected by residential schooling experience.  Angie is also a poet and artist and has used her work internationally to help others.  She is passionate about bringing her best to others in all that she does.
