Would you like the opportunity to showcase the innovation and creativity of your classes and students?

If so, then your students are doing Career & Technology Foundations (CTF) and we are inviting you to submit student created videos that showcase these great artifacts and activities. Regardless of whether your students are doing these activities in a scheduled CTF class or if these activities are imbedded in other curricula we would like you to showcase what your students are creating, learning, and achieving!

 

Film Submissions

 
The CTF Film Fest is welcoming a 1 minute video created, filmed and edited by students (two films submitted per school). This can include films celebrating student project-based learning such as; products created, services provided or performances.

CTF Occupation Areas:

Computing Science         
  • robotics and coding
Construction
  • building structures out a variety of materials
Agriculture
  • in- and outdoor gardening
Environmental Stewardship
  • recycling and alternative energy
Foods
  • cooking and nutrition
Communication Technology
  • photography, videography, broadcasting

Films that meet the festival requirements can submit their information at: https://goo.gl/forms/wnLFZtDkbZPvpJkx1

Film Criteria

Showcase films are to be student created artifacts with the following criteria:

  • one minute in length
  • showcase the challenge (learning) process & student artifacts
  • have/show originality, and quality in scripting, directing, and acting/dialogue/narration
  • have quality in video and camera work, editing, sound, and special effects
All submissions should include:

  • synopsis of film (brief paragraph summarizing film and learning activity)
  • participant biographies (i. e. director, actors, sound/video editor, and etc.)
  • movie poster (8.5 x 11)
