J.H. Picard Elementary/Junior/Senior High School opened in 1955 as St. Mary's. In 1990 the J.H. Picard French Immersion program relocated to this site and is now home to more than 700 students. J.H. Picard School is the District's only Kindergarten to Grade School that offers single-track French Immersion programming. In addition J.H. Picard School has the Advanced Placement program and a Fine Arts Academy.
