Hearts to Love, Hands to Serve. We are pleased to welcome Fr. Richard Leonard as our keynote speaker. We also welcome Bishop Gregory Bittman who will celebrate the Eucharistic Liturgy with us. For more information about the day, please click on the link to visit the site.

The formation and education of children, regardless of our role, is a tremendous vocation and responsibility. By being involved in the education mission of the church, Catholic schools provide a hopeful response to the great mysteries of life in an increasingly complex world. This hope is for all people of the world, not just those of us who are Catholics. Faith Development Day provides us, as colleagues and as faith-filled people, with the opportunity to become more deeply aware of the faith foundation of our lives and to enter into our life’s work with renewed conviction.

Staff of all employee groups are invited and expected to attend this special Faith Development Day. Substitute and replacement staff as well as those hired on contract or casual basis are welcome. To be sure that all have an equal opportunity to attend, there will be no instruction of students on this day and all rentals for the day are cancelled.

Our program begins at 8:30 am so we ask that everyone be seated before 8:30 so that we may honour the contributions of the planning committee, music ministry and presenters who have so graciously given of their time in preparation for this day. Our day ends at 1:30 pm allowing you go enjoy the remainder of the afternoon with colleagues or on your own.

Peace and blessings,
Joan Carr
