In Loving Memory of Sister Annata Brockman

September 7, 1927 – October 25, 2016

“If I would do anything for you while on earth if at all possible, how much more will I do for you when the resources – God’s unconditional love for you – will be available to me.”

Message from Sr. Annata shared at her Memorial Mass

It is hard to believe that two years have already passed since our beloved Sister Annata Brockman left us to join the Communion of Saints.  Sister Annata was a tireless champion for children, youth, and Catholic education.  She always ensured that each person she encountered had an experience of Jesus’ love through her.  Ever the teacher, Sister Annata even penned a final message to us so that she could help us all to know that she was overjoyed at joining our Father to intercede on our behalf!

Please join me in celebrating the legacy of our dear friend, Sister Annata, by praying an adaptation of the prayer she wrote for her namesake school!

God, Our Father, we thank you for your goodness to us, and to all your people.
We pray that you will bless abundantly all those who enter our schools.
God, Our Father, we thank you for your goodness to us, and to all your people.
Help us reach our fullest potential as the sons and daughters of God.
God, Our Father, we thank you for your goodness to us, and to all your people.
May we develop our God-given talents to become all that we can be.
God, Our Father, we thank you for your goodness to us, and to all your people.
Empower us to love you, and to love and care for one another as you command us.
God, Our Father, we thank you for your goodness to us, and to all your people.
May we contribute to the good of your people, and the good of creation.
God, Our Father, we thank you for your goodness to us, and to all your people.
We ask this in the name of Jesus, the Lord.

Amen
