Alternative Education's mission is to provide flexible, alternative, educational opportunities to students within a Christ-centered atmosphere. We offer flexible, personalized opportunities for high school completion, creating dedicated life-long learners. View the different programs below to see which one is the right path for you.
The program will take place from July 4th to July 26th, 2022, at nine locations offering three methods of course delivery and various programs to help support our current ECSD students.

The Assessment Support and Intervention Success Team (ASIST) offers integrated and wrap-around interventions and supports to at-risk grade 7 – 12 students within Edmonton Catholic Schools.
Alberta Health Services (formerly AADAC) to provide the educational component at the Alberta Health Services youth treatment intensive day program and the Alberta Health Services intensive treatment program.
Student-centered, self-paced programs for senior high school students who are not attending a traditional senior high school.
Alternative Education’s diploma preparation sessions help students prepare for Grade 12 diploma exams.
Home Education is an option for families which allow parents to be their child’s primary educator. They are responsible for managing, delivering and supervising their child’s courses of study.
Our Lady of Grace (OLOG) is an Edmonton Catholic School District Program that supports pregnant and parenting teens (female and male) while they are completing school.
PASS is an Alternative Education Senior high school after hours program for students who want a self-paced, individualized approach to their education.
This is a separate registration system specifically for Alternative Education and is not connected to a PowerSchool account. Therefore, a unique sign in is required.
Revelation Online offers a unique approach to online learning where students can participate in an independent asynchronous and synchronous learning environment from their home.
