Holy Trinity Major Modernization
This modernization will address, among other things, the mechanical and electrical systems, replace in-efficient light fixtures, upgrading of the fire alarm/systems and modifications to provide barrier free access.
Significant progress continues to be made on Holy Trinity’s $34.7 million addition/modernization project.
Over the past year and a half, we have welcomed the complete modernization of the Science wing, Cafeteria, Foods Lab, Student Services Department and the Student Learning Commons.
We are now occupying the brand-new wing of the school which encompasses 14 classrooms, a second full size gymnasium along with student change facilities.
All classrooms are being outfitted with state-of-the-art instructional technology as we move into the 21st century.
The solar panels on the east wall of the gymnasium is a testament to our commitment to a greener planet.
The courtyard landscaping is well underway soon to be accompanied by exterior land beautification.
The upcoming construction phase includes the school’s Chapel along with modernizing the remaining classrooms including our current gym. Having two full sized gymnasiums is an incredible opportunity for our student athletes.
The date of the significant completion for the project is scheduled for the middle of the 2020-2021 school year.
The Government of Alberta and Edmonton Catholic Schools looks forward to completion of the work and the many years Holy Trinity will serve the students and community of Millwoods.
