Holy Trinity High School Student Code of Conduct
Electronic Device/Cell Phone Policy
A student may only use a cell phone/electronic device before school, at lunch time, and after school. Use at any other time is in violation of the Student Conduct Policy.
Student using electronic device in class
Note: this would include a cell phone ringing/vibrating during class thus interrupting the lesson.
1st offence – teacher takes the phone/device away and the student will get it back at the end of the class period. Teacher records the violation in the Discipline Section on PowerSchool.
2nd offence – teacher takes phone/device away and gives it to the grade coordinator. The student will have to get it back from the grade coordinator at the end of the day. Grade coordinator will record the offence in the Discipline Section.
3rd offence – student’s phone/device is taken away and given to grade coordinator. The student’s parents will be notified. At this point, disciplinary action will take place. Again, the administrator will record the information in the Discipline Section.

Device/phone is taken away and given to the office. The student must get the device back from his/her grade coordinator at the end of the day. The grade coordinator will be responsible for consequences and will report the information in the Discipline Section of PowerSchool.
