At the end of every school year, students who achieved honours standing will be recognized based on the criteria below. Student names will appear on the Honour Board display case in the school. Student recognition for all Honours, Academic, Service Awards, and Scholarships takes place on Awards Night which occurs in October of every year. Requirements for these awards are indicated below.
Honours To be eligible for the honours awards, students must achieve an average of 80% or higher, based on the Alexander Rutherford Scholarships criteria, as listed below.
Alexander Rutherford Criteria is as follows:

Any two courses with minimum three credit value at Grade 10 level (1000 or 4000 series) including those listed above and combined introductory CTS courses. | Any two courses with minimum three credit value at Grade 11 level (2000 or 5000 series) including those listed above and combined intermediate CTS courses. | Any two courses with minimum five credit value at Grade 12 level (3000, 6000 or 9000 series) including those listed above and combined advanced CTS courses. | |||

All honour recipients will receive an honour award at the Awards Night ceremony.The top student in each grade with the highest average will receive an award.
