Truth and Reconciliation Day

Truth and Reconciliation Day

The Government of Canada has proclaimed September 30 as the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. The day will honour survivors, their families, and their communities. It will also ensure that public commemoration of the tragic and painful history and legacy of residential schools remains a vital component of the reconciliation process.
