Green STEM focus coming in the 2021-2022 school year! 

What is Green STEM? The greening STEM model is an interdisciplinary and collaborative approach that uses the natural environment and real world challenges to engage learners and deliver high quality programming.

It is an experiential approach that encourages authentic problem-solving while building on environmental knowledge and stewardship ethic.

Academic Programs

  • School wide balanced literacy program designed to develop strong skills in both reading and writing
  • French as  second language for students in Grades 4 - 6
  • Inclusive programming for English as a Second Language designed for new Canadians, or for students whose first language is other than English
  • Information and Communication Technologies are integrated into the core subjects
  • Daily physical activity to encourage all students to be active
  • Learning Coach working in collaboration with the homeroom teacher to support learners achieving below grade level using an inclusive model
  • Home Reading Programs are available in all classrooms
