Braided Journeys family Night Oct 27th

The focus of our first Virtual Family Night is “Re-balancing Our Internal Wisdom.” This session will take place on Microsoft Teams on October 27th at 6pm.

Session highlights: School start-up has been a big adjustment for many students. We have all had to face stressors related to the many changes of the pandemic and the consistent shift of protocols and expectations. Some students have been away from school as they chose remote learning and some students struggled to attend in these difficult times. Many of our sites have seen an increase in stress and other imbalances that have affected overall mental health of our students. In self-regulation practices we can learn to recognize, manage and respond to big emotions that affect our behavior. This session will use an arts-based approach to focus on settling our nervous system.

Participants need at least three sheets of copy-sized paper, some markers and/or pencil crayons. Participants do NOT need to be artists!
