Registration

St. Mark school continues to accept registrations for all grade levels.  Please email the school if you are interested in joining our team.

St. Mark school is welcoming all grade 6, grade 7, and grade 8 students for the 2022-2023 school year.

Important Dates:

  • January 10th – Students NEW to ECSD (Edmonton Catholic Schools) can register online (see RED REGISTER NOW tab at the top of this website).
  • January 26th – St. Mark student online registration FORM is available for new students.  We ask that all new students complete this form to help us prepare your child’s timetable.
  • January 26th & 31st – St. Mark’s principal visit the elementary feeder schools to share the wonderful advantages of our school and answer questions.
  • February 10th @ 6:30pm – Virtual Open House [Link will appear on open house webpage]
    1. Formal program – 6:30pm – 7:15pm
    2. Question Period – 7:15pm – 8:45pm
  • February 28th to March 17th – All ECSD students will have access through Parent Powerschool Portal to declare their intentions as to which school they are attending next year.  It will be called the intention icon and it will be in the left-hand column.   Should take less than a minute.
  • March 17th – Deadline for students to submit their FORM to register for St. Mark school.
  • April 8th – All students will be notified that their registration is finalized by email.

2022/2023 NEW to ECSD Registration Information:

  1. Online registrations will open January 10, 2022 at 9am on our ECSD division general website.
  2. To register your child you will need the following documentation that you will need to be upload on the online registration system
    1. Birth Certificate
    2. Citizenship/Residency documents (if necessary)
    3. Baptismal Certificate
    4. Most current Court Orders/Custody/Delegation of Authority (if necessary)
    5. Any other documentation that is specific to your situation (Change of Name Certificate, Work Permit, Study Permit, etc)
  3. You will need to create a school engage account prior to filling out the online application.
  4. Once you complete the online registration and have uploaded the necessary documents, our school office will contact you to set up a time to drop by the school to complete the registration process. For this meeting you will need to bring the original documents that you uploaded (from list above), we will scan your originals and verify your information. You will also need to provide proof of address, this can include a current utility bill or your driver's license.
  5. The Principal will then review your finalized registration prior to acceptance. Once this review is complete, you will receive a phone call from either the Administrative Assistant or Principal to confirm acceptance for the next school year.
