Every year Catholics across the globe, through the celebration of Catholic Education Week, give thanks for the gift of Catholic education which has served nations for centuries through teaching students in their faith.
In our Catholic faith, Mary, the Mother of God, plays a central role for us. Through her “yes” to God, salvation was born into this world in the person of Jesus. We begin our calendar year with the Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God, and have many other special days to honour her.
We expect that only healthy students and staff will come to school each day. Parents and caregivers must assess their child daily for symptoms of common cold, influenza, COVID-19, or other infectious respiratory disease before sending them to school.
ECSD is committed to updating our Back to School Plan, a step we have taken multiple times this school year to prioritize in-person learning and ensure we are creating meaningful and rich learning opportunities for our students.
