Transportation Information

GENERAL INFORMATION

Those students who live within our school boundary and north of 137 Avenue are eligible for yellow bus transportation. A District transportation form must be submitted at least two weeks before the desired start date for transportation. Between September and June, please call the school office to receive a transportation application.

It is very important that the Transportation Department have accurate contact information. Parents are contacted through phone, text and email messages of any bus schedule changes, interruptions or disruptions.

Note: Sir John Thompson School is not responsible for the yellow buses. Any issues or concerns should be directed to the Transportation Office.

ETS Information

On April 25, 2021, all Edmonton Transit bus routes are changing. There will be 44 new School Special bus routes and many new regular routes to take you to junior high or high school. The route names, where the route goes and time schedules will be different from today. These will be significant changes and you can plan ahead with the most up to date information at edmonton.ca/newbusroutes
