Draft Curriculum Feedback
The Government of Alberta is seeking feedback on Alberta’s draft kindergarten to Grade 6 curriculum.
The curriculum provides clear and specific details about the knowledge and foundational skills that all elementary students must learn in each subject and grade.
Feedback from parents, guardians, and the public will help:
- finalize the social studies design blueprint
- develop the corresponding draft social studies curriculum, and
- further revise all subjects in the draft K-6 curriculum

Attend a Virtual Session
Parents and the public are invited to attend a virtual information session hosted by Alberta Education.
Additional virtual information sessions will be held every month in English and every second month in French. Sign up to be notified when new sessions are added. Sessions with low registration may be cancelled. Registrants will be notified in advance.
If you have questions about registration, please email email@example.com.
While Edmonton Catholic Schools decided not to participate in the pilot project, we are encouraging parents, staff, and the community to provide Alberta Education with feedback on the draft curriculum and learn more. Your feedback will help refine the draft K-6 curriculum before it is implemented in classrooms across the province in September 2022.
