Mother Margaret Mary Biography

Mother Margaret Mary was born in 1880 as Laura Hickey. She became a Sister of the Faithful Companions of Jesus (FCJ) in 1910.  The FCJ sisters were the first community of religious women to teach at Edmonton Catholic Schools, beginning in 1888.  Mother Margaret Mary taught in the District for 50 years.
